Situated in the heart of Chatswood CBD, the organisation has recently seen a rapid expansion of its construction team due to its strong pipeline of active projects.
The team is looking to increase their headcount and looking for an experienced Site Manager and an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team.

Site Manager - Residential Construction (Mandarin Speaking)
Duties and Responsibilities
Working with the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Maintaining WH&S on site
Conducting Site Inductions and Toolbox talks
Co-ordinating labour activity on site, including all subcontractors’ activities.
Conducting weekly site meetings with subcontractors’ supervisors
Preparing and monitoring fortnightly construction programmes
Placing all material orders
Preparing the setup of all site requirements - crane, sheds, toilet, and scaffolding etc
Reviewing building practices to ensure most efficient methodology is used
Maintaining quality control procedures
Ensuring compliance with Building Commissioner requirements.
Ensuring Australian Building Standards are met throughout the building process
Ensuring all subcontractors produce and submit ITP’s
Preparing reports as required by the PM and Directors
Have full understanding of construction procedures
Conducting daily safety walks
Ability to lead, drive and mediate between stakeholders and site personnel.
Need to maintain site diaries and document progress with photos
Liaise with consultants, Council, and neighbours
Assess and minimise risk
Assist in preparing scope of works for various trades
Ideal Applicants will have:
8+ years’ experience in the residential construction, especially in Class 2 buildings.
Experience in similar developer-builders highly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures and site management
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Team player with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.
Must have strong communication skills and ability in understanding of individual circumstances.
Computer literacy is a plus.
An understanding that work hours will vary (includes Saturdays).
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

Contract Administrator - Residential Construction
Your Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Project Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Establishing and maintaining comprehensive project records from commencement to completion.
Ensuring company databases and filing, including project tracking are kept up to date with accurate information showing the current status of projects.
Assist with tenders and compiling tender documentation and assisting with tender submission.
Liaise with various stakeholders both internally and externally, including project team, clients, suppliers, consultants and contractors as required to clarify project requirements and obtain pricing information.
Assist with management of subcontractors, procurement suppliers, and OH&S and QA documentation.
Promptly identifying commercial risk and opportunity within contracts
Administering EOT, Delay Notice, Variation from subcontractors and assisting with preparation of RFI's to consultants.
Analyse architectural and engineering drawings and specifications and prepare BOQ in case of discrepancies or variations.
Evaluate and calculate the cost implications of variations in project design and delivery.
Prepare, review and ensure all subcontractor and supplier contracts are drawn up, issued and administered according to the budget and scope of works.
Ideal Applicants will have:
Relevant years of local experience in contract administration with similar developer-builders; end-to-end project management in residential
Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD.
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar discipline.
Comprehensive knowledge of BCA.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Team player with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.
Achieve targets whilst maintaining a high standard of quality.
