About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Trainer & Assessor to join our friendly, high-performing team on a casual basis. This role primarily involves training and assessing students, occasional work placement visits for the students studying Certificate III in Individual Support. 🏥✨
What You’ll Need ✅
To be successful in this role, you should:
✔ Be fluent in Mandarin
✔ Have industry experience in aged care, disability, or home/community care.
✔ Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent. 🎓
✔ Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
✔ Be passionate about teaching and guiding students. 🧑🏫
✔ Be a great communicator and a team player. 🤝
✔ Have basic IT skills (we’ll support you if you need help!). 💻
✔ Provide references from 2–3 Australian employers. 📜
✔ Be reliable, punctual, and able to complete marking on time. ⏳
✔ Commit to ongoing professional development (CPD). 📚
✔ Be open to improving training and assessment tools. 🔧
✔ Must have a car and a valid driver’s licence 🚗 (as this role requires travel to work placement sites).
Not Essential but a Plus 🌟
✨ Experience using aXcelerate.
✨ Previous teaching or mentoring experience
✨ RN preferred but welcome all eligible candidates
