About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant who can independently manage day-to-day financial operations and provide accurate reporting to support business decisions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting functions including AP, supervising AR, and general ledger
Prepare and lodge BAS, other statutory reports
Prepare monthly management reports and assist with year-end financial statements
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
Work closely with external accountants / auditors
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting & forecasting
Improve financial processes and internal controls
Assist management with financial analysis and decision support
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years accounting or finance experience
Experience in logistics / freight / supply chain industry (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Xero
Ability to independently handle BAS and year-end reporting
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines

Nice to Have
Chinese (Mandarin) reading and writing skills
CPA / CA qualification (or working towards)
Experience in fast-growing SME environment
