Frank began his flute journey in the 10th grade under the guidance of Kiri Sollis, a renowned flutist and lecturer at the ANU School of Music, as well as the principal flutist of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

He further honed his skills under the mentorship of Hans-Dieter Michatz, a German-Australian flutist, and Tracey O'Leary, former flutist of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
