8月29日，肖千大使会见南澳州贸易投资部长周凯奇。双方就中澳关系和地方合作议题进行了交流。

肖大使表示，不久前阿尔巴尼斯总理成功访华，两国领导人就进一步稳定和发展两国关系达成重要共识。中方重视同南澳的地方合作，愿继续推动双方经贸和人文交流。

周凯奇表示，中澳地方合作前景广阔。南澳愿与中国加强农产品、清洁能源合作。

Ambassador Xiao Qian meets with Minister for Trade and Investment of South Australia Joe Szakacs

On August 29, Ambassador Xiao Qian met with Hon. Joe Szakacs MP, Minister for Trade and Investment of South Australia, and exchanged views on China-Australia relations, in particular state-province cooperation between South Australia and China.

Ambassador Xiao said during the successful visit of Prime Minister Albanese to China, leaders of the two countries agreed on the importance of further stabilizing and developing bilateral relations. China is committed to sub-national cooperation with South Australia, and is willing to continue promoting economic, trade, and people-to-people exchanges.

Minister Joe Szakacs said China and Australia enjoy broad prospect in sub-national cooperation. South Australia is ready to strengthen agricultural and clean energy cooperation with China.
