房新文总领事出席上海交响乐团墨尔本音乐会

3月13日晚，上海交响乐团墨尔本音乐会在汉默音乐厅成功举行。房新文总领事出席并致辞，与现场2000余名观众共同观看演出。墨尔本交响乐团董事会主席迈尔、上海交响乐团团长周平出席。

房总领事在致辞中高度评价上海交响乐团精湛演出。他表示，演出融汇中西，为中澳文化交流和民心相通注入新的活力。同时，他期待中澳双方进一步加强文化团组交流互访，推动人文交流不断走深走实。

音乐会由上海交响乐团音乐总监余隆担任指挥。曲目编排兼具中国气韵与世界经典，得到现场观众高度评价。

Consul General Fang Xinwen Attends Shanghai Symphony Orchestra’s Melbourne Concert

On the evening of March 13, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's Melbourne concert was successfully held at Hamer Hall.

Consul General Fang Xinwen attended and delivered a speech, and watched the performance with over 2,000 audiences. Mr. Edgar Myer, Chairman of Board of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and Ms. Zhou Ping, Director of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, were also present.

In his speech, Consul General Fang highly praised the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's superb performance. He stated that the performance, blending Chinese and Western elements, injected new vitality into Sino-Australian cultural exchange and people-to-people connectivity.

He expressed his hope that China and Australia would further strengthen cultural exchanges and visits, promoting deeper people-to-people exchanges.

The concert was conducted by Yu Long, Music Director of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. The program combined Chinese aesthetics with world classics, receiving high praise from the audiences.
